AIDE doesn't collect your data. There are no accounts, and we never added analytics. Below is what each app touches and where it stays.

First

Our apps have no sign-up. They don't report what you did back to a server, and we never put analytics or ad SDKs in them. So there's no personal data of yours here to hold.

Promising to guard a pile of it is worth less than not having the pile.

App by app

Sam's Note iOS

  • Your notes live on your device. The app doesn't send them anywhere.
  • There's no server to receive them, so we have no way to read them.
  • No account, no login, no backup server. Delete the app and the notes go too.

Dopamine News iOS

  • The app only reads the cards we've prepared. Nothing goes back up.
  • With no account, there's nowhere to record what you read.
  • The news and market figures are public information, tidied up. They aren't anyone's personal data.

Video Triage iOS

  • It connects to a server you run yourself. Your decisions pile up there and never come past us.
  • Nothing is written to your original video files.
  • We can't get into your server.

dsget iOS

  • Your NAS credentials stay on your device. They never reach us.
  • The app talks to your NAS directly. There's no server of ours in between.
  • We can't see your NAS, or anything on it.

This website

  • No cookies.
  • We never added analytics or tracking scripts.
  • No web fonts either, which means this page makes no outbound requests at all.
  • The site does sit with a host called Vercel. As with any web server, access logs — your IP, the time you asked — rest briefly on their side. We don't look through them, and we don't market from them.

If you write to us

To answer you, your message has to sit in our mailbox, and that means your address and what you wrote. We won't use it for anything but the reply, and we won't hand it to anyone.

Children

Our apps aren't made for children. And they collect nothing from anyone to begin with.

When this changes

If an app starts handling data differently, we fix this page before that ships, and change the date at the top.
